Virtus Malbec
- LOCATION OF THE VINEYARDS: Vista Flores, Uco Valley, Mendoza.
- ALTITUD: 1000 m.s.n.m.
- SOIL: sandy loam with a high percentage of stones.
- VARIETIES: Malbec, Syrah, Cabernet Franc.
- HARVEST: manual in small 12 kg plastic boxes.
- SUGGESTED PAIRING: Ideal with hearty, spicy dishes such as meats, stews, and pasta.
- VINIFICATION: A double selection of bunches and berries is carried out. A cold pre-fermentation maceration (5°C) is carried out for 4 days. Alcoholic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, between 25°C and 28°C, in 225-liter French Robke barrels, using microvinification to maximize expression and balance.
- AGEING: 24 months in French oak barrels, 50% first use, 50% second use.
- TEMPERATURE: It is recommended to serve between 14° - 16° C.
- TECHNICAL TEAM: José Mounier (Winemaker). Agustín Vicente (Vineyards).
- TASTING NOTES: Bright ruby in color. The nose displays ripe plums, violets, cocoa, and a hint of spice. The palate is juicy, with silky tannins and a long finish. Powerful yet refined.

- SUGGESTED PAIRING: Ideal with hearty, spicy dishes such as meats, stews, and pasta.

Alcoholic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, between 25° and 28°C, in 225-liter French oak barrels, using microvinification to achieve precision and varietal expression.
- AGEING: 24 months in French oak barrels, 50% first use, 50% second use.
- TEMPERATURE: It is recommended to serve between 14° - 16° C.

- TASTING NOTES: Deep red in color with subtle nuances of development. Complex on the nose, with notes of ripe black fruit, spices, and delicate traces of oak. The palate is full-bodied, structured, and long-lasting, with firm tannins and an elegant finish.
