Marae Malbec

  • MALBEC 80% - 20% RESERVA - IMPROVED YOUNG BLEND
  • LOCATION OF THE VINEYARDS: Vista Flores, Uco Valley, Mendoza.
  • ALTITUD:  1000 m.s.n.m.
  • SOIL: sandy loam with some mica, very dry and permeable.
  • HARVEST: manual in small 12 kg plastic boxes.
  • SUGGESTED PAIRING: ideal for pasta with tuco or Bolognese sauce, pizzas and meats.
  • VINIFICATION: Cold maceration at 8°–10°C for 10 days. Alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature with manual pigeage. Malolactic fermentation in barrels.
  • AGEING: 20% 12 months in French oak barrels, 80% young wine of the year.
  • TEMPERATURE: It is recommended to serve between 14° - 16° C.
  • TECHNICAL TEAM: José Mounier (Winemaker). Agustín Vicente (Vineyards).
  • TASTING NOTES: Bright ruby red with violet hues. The nose presents notes of red fruit, such as cherry and raspberry. Its freshness and medium persistence are perceived on the palate. Balanced, fresh, and fruity, with excellent varietal character.

Marae Chardonnay

  • CHARDONNAY - IMPROVED YOUNG BLEND
  • LOCATION OF THE VINEYARDS: Vista Flores, Uco Valley, Mendoza.
  • ALTITUD:  1000 m.s.n.m.
  • SOIL: sandy loam with some mica, very dry and permeable.
  • HARVEST: manual in small 12 kg plastic boxes.
  • SUGGESTED PAIRING: ideal for appetizers, fish and desserts.
  • VINIFICATION: The wine is gently pressed using a mechanical press, and the must is extracted for fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Vinification takes place at 14°–17°C, preserving the freshness and character of the variety. The wine rests on lees for six months in stainless steel tanks.
  • TEMPERATURE: It is recommended to serve between 5° - 10° C.

  • TASTING NOTES: A very bright and clear greenish-yellow color. The nose is floral with notes of fruits like peach and pineapple. The palate offers a good balance of acidity and freshness.

Marae Sweet Sparkling Wine

  • COMPOSITION: Muscat of Alexandria.
  • LOCATION OF THE VINEYARDS: Vista Flores, Uco Valley, Mendoza.
  • VINIFICATION: Charmat method. The foam is collected at 12°-15°C for 21 days. The first part of the fermentation takes place at normal pressure, and the second part takes place in autoclaves that allow the incorporation of carbon dioxide naturally generated during the process. Finally, the fermentation is stopped by cooling to ensure the desired sweetness and low alcohol content.
  • ALCOHOL: 11% v/v
  • RESIDUAL SUGAR: 50 g/l
  • TEMPERATURE: It is recommended to serve between 6° - 8° C.

  • TASTING NOTES: Light greenish-yellow in color, with soft silvery glints. Fruity and floral, with aromas of apricot and some citrus. Soft bubbles with a fresh, lingering finish. This is a vibrant, youthful, and very pleasant sparkling wine, ideal for any occasion.
