Terroir

Malbec Terroir

  • LOCATION OF THE VINEYARDS: Vista Flores, Uco Valley, Mendoza.
  • ALTITUD: 1000 m.s.n.m. 
  • SOIL: sandy loam of alluvial origin, with gravel in the subsoil and calcareous sediments.
  • HARVEST: Hand-picked in small 12-kg plastic crates. In pursuit of excellent grape quality, we carry out a double selection of bunches and berries.
  • SUGGESTED PAIRING: ideal for pasta with tuco or Bolognese sauce, pizzas and meats.
  • VINIFICATION: Cold maceration takes place at 7°C for 5 days. Alcoholic fermentation then takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels.
  • AGEING: 80% of the wine spends 12 months in 225-liter, second- and third-use French oak barrels. It then rests in the bottle for 6 months.
  • TEMPERATURE: It is recommended to serve between 14° - 16° C.
  • TECHNICAL TEAM: José Mounier (Winemaker). Agustín Vicente (Vineyards).
  • TASTING NOTES: Intense purple-red. Its aroma evokes notes of red and black fruits, as well as spices. The palate is fruity and complex, with rounded tannins. Its finish is persistent, making it a complex and elegant wine.

Terroir Cabernet Franc

  • LOCATION OF THE VINEYARDS: Vista Flores, Uco Valley, Mendoza.
  • ALTITUD:  1000 m.s.n.m.
  • SOIL: alluvial loam, with gravel in the subsoil and calcareous sediments.
  • HARVEST: manual in small 12 kg plastic boxes.
  • SUGGESTED PAIRING: Recommended to accompany hard cheeses, stews and red meats.
  • VINIFICATION: Cold maceration takes place at 7°C for 5 days. Alcoholic fermentation then proceeds at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels.
  • AGING: 100% of the wine is aged in 225-liter, second- and third-use French oak barrels for 12 months. It then rests in the bottle for 6 months.
  • TEMPERATURE: It is recommended to serve between 14° - 16° C.
  • TECHNICAL TEAM: José Mounier (Winemaker). Agustín Vicente (Vineyards).
  • TASTING NOTES: Deep color with very bright purple hues. Great varietal typicity and spices are evident. This is a wine with an expressive center, great balance, and complexity derived from aging. It is deep and elegant, lasting on the palate and with a graceful finish.
